La Kunsthalle Mulhouse
La Kunsthalle is art center of the City of Mulhouse. It is located in « La Fonderie », a building it shares with the University of Haute-Alsace, and organises exhibitions and other events based on artistic creation and research.
La Kunsthalle Mulhouse offers different types of residencies, while developing a long-term model for collaboration with artists through its partner associations.
CURATORIAL Residency
Provides curators with an opportunity to spend time conducting research and discovering local artists.
Objectives
Introducing exhibition professionals to the Mulhouse art scene. Promoting dialogue and interaction between artists from Mulhouse and curators from other regions and countries.

Atelier Mondial Residency
Atelier Mondial is an international programme offering exchanges and workshops. It allows artists from the Basel area, the Canton of Solothurn, South Baden and Alsace to spend several months living and working in one of its ten partner countries. Atelier Mondial also gives foreign artists the opportunity to spend time in the Upper Rhine area (Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg im Breisgau). As part of this programme, La Kunsthalle runs a residency programme for a Mexican artist every year.Accueillir un artiste mexicain ayant une pratique liée au textile qui pourra trouver des développements à Mulhouse et dans sa région.

ASSOCIated writers. ÉCRIRE L'ART
For one year, a writer is included in the whole programme at La Kunsthalle. Associated writers are asked to produce texts and meet with the public at local events. This programme is run in collaboration with the Arts and Humanities faculty (Faculté des Lettres, Langues et Sciences Humaines) at Université de Haute-Alsace.

Every year, La Kunsthalle and the association Epices (Espaces de Projets d'Insertion Cuisine Et Santé) invite a culinary artist to collaborate with both venues and develop a project to present at the art centre’s 4 vernissages. Each of these 4 events is devised and prepared at the Epices kitchens, in partnership with the association’s chefs and members.

Artist researcher
La Kunsthalle invites an artist to develop a research programme linked with the resources available in Mulhouse.
